Dark and Moody Tahoe {Styled Shoot}
We waited and wait for snow this year and as quickly as it came it was gone. I have been wanting to share these images from this Winter Tahoe Styled Shoot for a few months and have finally had the chance. I know, probably not as relevant as if there was snow on the ground, but in all actuality, I think it’s the best of both worlds. Beautiful, snowy, cold images and warm sunny weather outside! No teacup hand warmers needed to view this blog!
I love the deep dark burgundy blooms against the dark foliage. Absolutely a contrast from the soft and pretty images we are use to in Spring. The deeper colors speak to my soul and are just stunning with the fur and sequin dress against the snow. The ring from Goldilocks Reno is gorgeous!
The bouquet is composed of a base of Pepperberry and Spiral Eucalyptus. Swartz Calla Lilies, Raspberry Ranunculus, Burgundy Scabiosa and Cymbidium Orchid blossoms poke throughout the canopy. Pussy Willow branches shoot from the bouquet.
The boutonniere is composed of Burgundy Scabiosa blossoms and Burgundy Ranunculus Bud. Eucalyptus, Bay Leaf, and Plumosa foliage accent the design.
The Paper suit designed by Pretty Little Paper Co. marries the romantic winter feeling with a classic elegance. The vellum overlay is just beautiful!
The gold flake on the cutting cake design by Delicious Designs Reno makes such a statement for a simple design. I love the simple addition of Wood Round, Evergreen, and Pinecone.
